Atlanta Motoring Festival and Concours d'Elegance

Recently I was invited to share my love for all things British at the Inaugural

Atlanta Motoring Festival and Concours d'Elegance

being held at the Chukkers Polo Fields in Alpharetta.

My good friend came with me and we set up our 10x20 area and had
great fun from the center of the polo field!

We offered re-purposed wood and metal bird houses, one was a Polo Barn!
There was an area with the equestrian/Horse lover with oils on canvas, books and even
a cast iron door stop.

Can't forget the dog lover, because we know the Brits love their dogs!

A wood Butler's Tray stand with a very large silver plate tray and a custom throw made from equestrian themed Ralph Lauren fabric with velvet on back and deep bouillon.  To die for!

Can't be at a polo match, horse trials or picnicking without a wool blanket to cover up or cover the ground!  We featured 9 different family tartans and even scarfs.  There were books on clan tartans and pictures of clan members in their tartans.  Framed butterfiles and very old Mason Hydra Jugs.

H.J. Pags displayed a few of her treasures next to
7 wonderful prints that playfully poke fun at the British upper-class.

The highlight of the booth is always our vintage (authentic) English Picnic Hampers.  Made by famous brands like Brexton, Coracle, Abercrombie & Fitch and a few others.
They hampers are favored by vintage car enthusiasts who like everything about their car to be
both British and Authentic.

The one on the left above is made by vintage Abercrombie and Fitch when they outfitted the wealthy (many U.S. Presidents) with hunting, camping and safari gear.

We featred a custom hamper that was chock full of British goods!  Tea pot, cream, sugar, cups & saucers, luncheon plates and flatware were Johnson Brothers Old Britain Castle.  The napkins were Cath Kidston and the tablecloth was an amazing vintage floral.  The thermos and food storage were vintage Made in England.  This drew lots of attention and one Japanese couple would have loved to purchase it but couldn't see flying it back to Japan.

We offered both US Flags and Union Jacks to our little shoppers free.
Magazines like The English Home and The English Garden sell like hot cakes!

We look forward to setting up at our next Atlanta British Car Fayre September 10th in
Alpharetta, Ga.
